Star Trek was a series first developed by Gene Roddenberry, and was first debuted on September 8, 1966. A science fiction/adventure series, the show was set in the 23rd century, and followed different adventures of the crew of the Starship Enterprise. The show’s stars, William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, played the now famous Captain James T. Kirk and First Officer Mr. Spock.
