Star Trek: The Resource Site

Star Trek was a series first developed by Gene Roddenberry, and was first debuted on September 8, 1966. A science fiction/adventure series, the show was set in the 23rd century, and followed different adventures of the crew of the Starship Enterprise. The show’s stars, William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, played the now famous Captain James T. Kirk and First Officer Mr. Spock. Although the show only survived 3 seasons and 79 episodes, it became a cult classic, inspiring many TV spin-offs and movies, and loyal fans, dubbed “Trekkies.” More information on the Original Series, which is now known as TOS, can be found at Wikipedia and Wiki Entertainment.
