What’s your reason for getting an international cell phone?

Can I Use Data With The Mobal Satellite Phone?

It is possible to use data with your Mobal Satellite Phone.  If you require this service, please tell us and we will be glad to supply a data kit for you free of charge.  Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee technical support for data services (full technical support is provided for all other services).

Data usage is charged in full minutes at $1.99 per minute.

Dial up data speed is 2.4kbps.  This is usually sufficient for sending emails, but not sufficient for transferring large files or browsing the internet.

Sending And Receiving Short Emails On The Mobal Satellite Phone

Please note that it is possible to send and receive short emails on the Mobal Satellite Phone without using a data kit.  Messages are a maximum of 160 characters long.  Outgoing messages are charged at $1.50 per message.  Incoming messages are free to receive on the Mobal Satellite Phone.  Full instructions on how to use this service are provided in your rental pack.
