The Secret Lives Of Mobal Staff

Meet Mobal Manager, Stephen Clough...
If you've noticed in past newsletters, when it comes to dressing up, Stephen really does go the whole 9 yards.
This time it was for Australia Day, but what a canoeist has to do with Australia... Your guess is as good as mine.
If you'd like to see what makes Stephen tick, check out his profile here...

1. Time at Mobal: 20 years

2. Job at Mobal: General Manager.

3. Best Mobal World Phone tip: Check the call rates before you travel. While most countries are remarkably affordable, there are a few extreme exceptions where you can seriously damage your bank balance. If you're a regular visitor to Chad, Iraq, Russia, Serbia & Montenegro or Uzbekistan then I'd advise particular caution.

4. Have you ever had a time when abroad when your cell phone has been invaluable? No, I despise them. Where's the excitement in travel without the anxiety, uncertainty and anticipation of impending disaster?

5. Your best holiday experience ever and why? Barbados, on my honeymoon. (Had to put this, my wife works for Mobal too!)

6. Your worst holiday experience and why? Not really a holiday, but the time I flew to Cyprus to smuggle a satellite phone onto a condemned tanker with a mutineering crew has to be one of my more memorable days out.

7. Dream holiday destination: Tresco, Isles of Scilly. England's last stop before the Caribbean. (www.tresco.co.uk)

8. Favourite travel tip or product: Travel alone.

9. If you could describe yourself as an animal, what would it be and why? Funnily enough, never given this a great deal of thought, but... scruffy, self-sufficient, perseverant, hairy - a camel perhaps?
