From October 2017, Mobal Japan SIMs will be available to purchase onboard JetStar flights. Our SIM will be available on all international JetStar flights arriving at Japan airports.
Jetstar is a low cost airline operating in many countries throughout Asia. JetStar Japan is a joint venture between the Qantas Group, Japan Airlines, Mitsubishi Corporation and Tokyo Century Corporation. Jetstar Japan operates more than 100 flights a day to 16 domestic routes and 8 international routes including flights to and from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
Jetstar Japan currently has a fleet of 21 Airbus A320s configured for 180 passengers. The company has served more than 18 million customers in around four and a half years of operations.
We’re very excited about partnering with JetStar and launching our Japan SIM card at 39,000 feet!

Great initative, I was very happy to see the advertisement on the plane. Unfortunately I was very dissapointed when there was no SIM on my flight from Hong Kong to Tokyo….
