This northern all-weather stadium is home to the Consaladore Sapporo football team & the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters baseball team. Famous for the “floating pitch” which slides in and out on matchdays.. A flight from Tokyo to Sapporo is approx 1.5 hrs and the Dome is about 1 hour by train/bus from Sapporo Airport (CTS). Features an observatory accessed by a 60m-long aerial escalator affording wonderful views of the arena below and the area around.Previously a venue for 3 games during the 2002 FIFA World Cup it hosts the following rugby matches in 2019!
