Check out the list of the best instagrammable destinations in Europe below:

Big Ben

London in general is an Instagram haven. Museums, funky bars, architecture, and plenty of restaurants & cafes, this cosmopolitan city ranks high on the list of places to see and be seen on social media. In particular, Big Ben is the rising star of the social world. There are several reasons why it’s so popular but if you search for Big Ben on Instagram, you can see right away that it looks great from any angle, near or far. It’s timeless landmark of London, and tourists absolutely go nuts over it.

The Eiffel Tower

Ooh La La! There’s no way this list couldn’t include The Eiffel Tower. Considering that France welcomes the most tourists out of any country in Europe every year, it’s not a surprise that Paris is insanely popular on Instagram. This beautiful landmark can be seen for miles, lights up at night, and is a picture-perfect background for your picnic in the park below.

Italy

Cinque Terre, Florence, Venice, Tuscany, the list can go on and on and on. But one place in all of Italy makes your heart melt, eyes bulge and mouth drop. And that place is in the South Tyrol region. This lake’s backdrop includes towering mountains, turquoise waters, and a reflection so clear, you swear you’re looking at glass. Lago di Braies, or Lake Braies is a dream destination. Outdoor enthusiasts will drool at the thought of being able to hike, fish and camp there. The famous photo on Instagram that’s blowing up at the moment showcases the incredible colors of the water, the mountains and the quaint cabin on stilts in the water. Hang out in the canoe attached to the dock for the ultimate snap. Trust me, go look it up now. You’ll want to book your tickets immediately.

The Devils Bridge, Germany

Located in Kramlauer, the Devil’s Bridge or Rakotzbruke, is straight out of a medieval fairytale. The very slender bridge was built for a local king by a local artist. When the sun reflects on the water, it creates a perfect circle. The half-circle bridge is so unique, locals thought that such perfection didn’t exist, hence it’s given name ‘The Devil’s Bridge’ as Satan was the only one who could create something so crazy. Although the bridge is closed now to preserve itself, photographers, instagrammers and law-breakers make their way to the crest of the bridge to get that one epic shot. And I have to say, they are pretty magical.

Cappadocia, Turkey

Hot-air ballooning anyone? Every time I see a photo taken high above the ancient ruins of the Cappadocia region filled with hot-air balloons in every direction, I gasp. It simply does not look real. How can so many balloons be in the air at once? And how are they all standing still? Regardless of my doubt, this sight truly does exist. At the top of thousands if not millions of people is Cappadocia, Turkey. This unique landscape dates back to the Bronze Age, and still includes dwellings carved into the side of the valley walls. Tall chimney-like stacks are sprinkled throughout the region, giving this desert landscape a bizarre-yet-beautiful contrast. It’s a place that only shows up in dreams, yet this place fully exists on earth. Put it on the list, it’s a must.
