HUB is the Perfect End to Your Day in Japan!

Last night we decided to take sit back and have a good feed with a couple of bevvy’s at the LaQua City HUB! After a long day of walking around Tokyo trying to see and do all we could, we just needed a place where we could relax and recharge. HUB looked like just the right place!

What sealed the deal for us was seeing that they offer fish and chips! After a month of eating nothing but bento’s and ramen we were craving some western food!

The interior was incredibly cosy, with TV’s playing sport all over the bar! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating as well, finding us a table really promptly despite the pub being rather busy!

Once we sat down the first thing that crossed our minds were the drinks! We arrived during happy hour, which made for incredibly cheap pints and cocktails! I played it safe and got a pint HUB ale and I was not disappointed!

Like you can see in the picture, you will get a proper sized pint here!

Next came the food! We ordered nachos, fish and chips and pizza! Three western dishes we never though we would find in Japan! The portion sizes were perfect and they were cooked to perfection!! However, despite the food being very western, there are still many reminders that your in Japan!

Summing It Up!

Visiting this HUB was a great experience for us and was just the recharge we needed! With 106 other HUB locations around Japan you will never have trouble finding a HUB near you! So why not go down and have a few drinks, whether your in a group or by yourself, HUB appears to be a great place to enjoy the end of your day!

This blog post was written by our intern visiting from Australia, Chris Border. See what else he’s been getting up to during his time in Japan here.

Editor’s Note: Of course by now you’ve probably realised that with every sim sold in 2019 Mobal are also providing a Free Drink coupon at the HUB to the value of one drink- maximum 1,000 yen. That’s just one more reason to visit the HUB!
