WARNING!   Warning!

With other international SIM cards, you DO NOT get the same 'in the next room' call quality as you get with the Mobal SIM.

The reason for this is that the Mobal SIM will always automatically log onto the strongest cell phone signal of the networks available in the area - this means you'll always be using the best signal with the clearest calls available for the area you're in.

What's more, this means you actually get better quality than many of the locals, who are limited to just one network!

3. How billing works

  • Order your International SIM Card either securely online or with our call center by credit card. At the point your order is confirmed, purchase and shipping costs are taken from your card.

  • When you're traveling and using your International SIM, any calls you make will be charged to your credit card either every time you reach $100 worth of calls, or if you don’t reach that amount, every 15 days. (The credit card charged will be the one you used to order, which you can change through your online Mobal MyAccount if you like.)

  • Once you've finished your trip and all your outstanding calls have been charged, your International SIM Card will not cost you another penny until the next time you need to use it.

  • You will be able to keep an eye on your call costs, and update your details 24/7 using your online Mobal MyAccount service.

  • It's as easy as that!

7. Mobal® compared to other services

Local SIM cards.

This is another type of SIM card service you can find, where you buy separate SIM cards for each country you visit. They are advertized with low call rates, but the savings are not so great when you consider the start up costs.

Consider the cost on a possible trip to Europe …

Mobal's GSM World Phone costs just $49, and can be used in 150 foreign countries.

Calls are charged per minute, there are no monthly fees or usage minimums

Angus Fraser

The Mobal GSM World Phone has a lifetime phone number with no annual fee. So what is the catch? There is no catch. And it gets better. The international cell phone phone service can work in over 170 countries. This is a uniquely good deal.

The Travel Insider

I have traveled extensively throughout the world for over 25 years and have flown over 3 million air miles.

I must say that the purchase of your Mobal World Phone has been the biggest improvement in my travels, ever.

Also, Mobal is one of the few companies that I call where a live person answers the call and answers my questions every time! I have told all of my traveling friends about it.

Ray Swchartz

Mobal's GSM World Phone works in over 170 countries with no minimums, fees or service charges. You pay only for calls you make. The Mobal International cell phone comes highly recommended by seasoned travelers.

Budget Travel

The $49 Mobal World Phone is worth its weight in roaming fees if you travel internationally. The only thing you pay for is the international cell phone itself, delivery and the calling fees.

The Oregonian

My Mobal World Phone was a great peace of mind for our trip to Italy.

I was able to call my parents on their 60th anniversary as well as my father on Father's Day.

Additionally we were traveling with four other couples and the phones made it very easy for us to reconnect while in larger cities.

Thank you for your assistance.

Mike Rowson

The Mobal World Phone is the convenient option for people who don't already have a usable phone. It costs just $49 and works in 170 countries and comes equipped with a SIM card.

The Wall Street Journal

As a CDMA user from Verizon, I had to rent a phone and paid $4 a day and $2 roaming charge to be able to communicate with my key contacts. After investigating and reading the recommendations from the leading magazines and web reviews, I decide to go for Mobal.

Not only it is economical, it also brings a lot of convenience to me. I do not have to buy a sim card and worry about the unused minutes waste. I also saved the rental fees because I own the phone instead of wasting money on my rental.

I highly recommend this service.

Jason Tu

If you are planning to go overseas, it works out cheaper to buy The $49 Mobal World Phone, rather than renting an international cell phone.

Visit Britain

I got my Mobal World Phone for a business trip to Australia.

It's easy to use as there is no frustration as with trying to use a calling card from a hotel room, so the connection to "home" is always available. The peace of mind it provides is priceless.

Thank you for a great product …
