We’re working hard behind the scenes to make your Mobal service even better! We want to keep you in the loop and be as transparent as possible, so here are a few projects that our development team have been working on recently.
How We’re Making It Easier To Track Your Data Use
Right now, it’s more important than ever to make sure you’ve got enough data. While we’re all relying on our phones to keep us connected to loved ones who me may not be able to have any physical contact with, we all need to avoid any nasty surprises, like your monthly allowance running out. That’s why we’re using this time to try and put more of the power over your data use back into your hands.
As you may have already noticed, we’ve introduced text alerts to let you know when you’re nearing the limit of your monthly allowance. That means it should never come as a nasty shock if you run out of fast data. Instead, you’ll have time to either slow down your data use, or log into your Mobal MyAccount to easily add extra data to keep you going until the next month rolls around.
Speaking of which, we’re giving you much more control over your plan and added data, too. Previously, you could add one extra GB during the month, and choose to upgrade your plan starting on the 1st of the next month. Now, you can add as much data as you want during the current month, and from July, if you upgrade your plan, it’ll start immediately!
A New and Improved MyAccount
We’re going to make your MyAccount easier to use! We’re taking a ‘mobile first’ approach to the design, so it’ll be super easy to make changes to your plan, see your bills and much more, right from your phone. We’ll also soon be making it possible to look up your data usage within your MyAccount for the first time, so you’ll be able to keep track of how much you have left for the month.
We’ve recently expanded the hours that we’re able to activate new SIMs in Japan, meaning that more of you will be able to get online quicker! Our activations now take place between the hours of 8am & 10pm (Japan time) – and take just minutes to be processed.
