Payment for your Mobal service, and future billing for any usage, is all done by credit card or Paypal, so it's super-easy!

Your device should be activated within 2 business days from shipping. We will send you an email to confirm when it is active and ready to use.
Your service fees will be billed to your Debit/Credit Card or PayPal account. You can view itemized statements for all your charges in your online account, so you always know exactly what you are paying for.
For your first month of service, your monthly plan fees will be pro-rated. For example, if your device is activated on October 15th, you will be billed half of your regular monthly bill (for the period from October 15th until October 31st). This payment will be taken upon activation. Then on November 1st, you will be billed a full month (for the month of November).
Going forward, you will be billed your monthly fee around the 1st of every calendar month until you choose to cancel your service.

Mobal Japan WiFi connects to any of the big-three networks in Japan; Softbank, DoCoMo and AU. That means that you’ll get great connectivity all over Japan! In your home, you can connect up to 10 of your devices to it, just like a traditional WiFi hotspot. Your device charges via USB, and will last for 10-12 hours of continuous use when not connected to power.
You’ll get up to 50Mbps upload speed and up to 150Mbps download speed. Perfect for streaming, connecting multiple devices, and staying in touch with home.
Your 100GB high speed data allowance will be reset on the 1st of each month. If you use more than 100GB, your data speed will be reduced to a maximum of 384kbps until the 1st of the next month. These speeds may not be sufficient for streaming music or video, but they should be perfect for most data activities, such as web browsing, emailing, posting to Facebook, Whatsapp messaging, etc. In fact, it's great for all those things you need to do to make your friends and family at home jealous of your trip.
No, we activate the WiFi device for you! We aim to activate your WiFi device within 2 business days of it being shipped to your address in Japan. Sometimes, around Japanese holidays, activations can take longer than 2 business days, but we will email you to let you know as soon as the service is active and ready to use.
Your device charges via USB, and will last for 10-12 hours of continuous use when not connected to power - perfect for taking on a day out! At home you can leave it plugged in to your USB charger, so it stays powered on all the time.
