This 32,000 seater stadium was recently used to provide relief & shelter in the aftermath of the 2016 earthquake. The stadium itself is a towering construction that has recently been re-named the Egao Kenko (Smily Healthy) stadium but locals may still refer to it as the Umakana Yokana stadium- don’t worry it’s distinctive! From Tokyo a flight takes approximately 2 hrs but with England, New Zealand, Wales & Scotland all camping themselves in Kyushu a lot of fans will undoubtedly opt to do the same.
