You can use as much as you like. You get 1GB, 5GB, 10GB or 30GB of data at super-fast 4G LTE speeds. After you've used your data, speeds are limited to 200 kbps (but you can still use an unlimited amount). The speed restriction is reset on the 1st day of each month.

How do I know if my phone is eSIM compatible?
It's easy to check if your phone is eSIM compatible - just by dialling a simple code:

What does "unlocked" mean?
If your device is "unlocked", it means that it can work with a SIM from any network. If your device is "locked", it is restricted to work only on your regular carrier's network. Your device must be "unlocked" to work with a Mobal eSIM.
How do you know if your phone is unlocked?
If you purchased your device as an "unlocked" or "SIM Free" device from a retailer such as Amazon, then your device is almost certainly already unlocked. This means that it will work with our eSIM. How It Works
1. Buy your SIM today for just ¥3,960.
2. When you receive your SIM, follow the easy activation instructions included to log on to our activation website. Simply select your data plan then choose your Start Date.
3. Enjoy using your phone! If you have any problems, check our easy-to-use online support pages, or contact our friendly Customer Service Team.
4. Line rental charges and call/text/data charges are billed to your Debit/Card Card or PayPal account as and when we receive the usage information from the network. You can view all of your charges in your online account.
SIM Details
Always-On Data
You can use as much as you like. You get 1GB, 5GB, 10GB or 30GB of data at super-fast 4G LTE speeds. After you've used your data, speeds are limited to 200 kbps (but you can still use an unlimited amount). The 1GB, 5GB, 10GB or 30GB speed restriction is reset on the 1st day of each month. So, if you are traveling from October 20th until November 19th, you will actually get 60GB of data if you're on the 30GB plan (30GB in each calendar month!).
Real Japanese Phone Number
You get a real Japanese phone number with an 070, 080 or 090 prefix. This makes it super easy for friends, family or business contacts to reach you. Our competitors provide 050 numbers, which are unreliable and not accepted by many institutions.

Pick-up & Shipping
Due to Japanese law, we're required to verify that you're the person using the SIM. To do that, we can mail a unique access code to the address listed on your ID, or you can show your ID at a pick-up point in Japan. It may seem counter-intuitive, but it helps us to keep you and your service secure.
FREE Pick-up in Japan
You can collect your SIM Card in Japan - completely free of charge. All you need is your order confirmation and your passport. Simply show those to the staff at the pick-up point, and they'll hand your SIM Card right to you.

Note: There are currently known issues with the Google Pixel handset range that primarily appear to affect the non-Japanese versions of these devices. Reports indicate that this issue can lead to frequent connection drops / intermittent issues with certain services and so (as we cannot take responsibility for device issues of this kind) we would recommend that you avoid these particular handsets when using our services.
What does "unlocked" mean?
If your device is "unlocked", it means that it can work with a SIM card from any network. If your device is "locked", it is restricted to work only on your regular carrier's network. Your device must be "unlocked" to work with the Japan Tourist SIM.
How do you know if your device is unlocked?
If you purchased your device as an "unlocked" or "SIM Free" device from a retailer
